Staff were polite and provided helpful local recommendations.
The elevator barely fits one person with luggage, making it extremely inconvenient. During my six-night stay, the room was cleaned minimally and bedsheets were not changed at all. Combine that with the shower's poor drainage and broken fixtures, and it made for a frustrating experience.

The location excelled with easy access to Gare de l'Est and local eateries. My room shone with cleanliness, and the comfortable beds made for restful nights. The shower had great water pressure, making it a highlight of my stay. However, the elevator only reached the fourth floor, which meant a trek up two flights with luggage. The tiny space barely accommodated two people, creating inconvenience. While the bathroom was clean, the design needed improvement as water leaked across the floor during showers. Despite these issues, the overall ambiance and nearby attractions compensated for the inconveniences.

had an amazing time at d'alsace celebrating my birthday! the view from our balcony was stunning, and the breakfast spread was delicious with fresh baguettes and croissants. my previous stays in paris were good, but this hotel really exceeded my expectations with its cozy vibe and excellent location near the gare de l'est.
the elevator was super small.

Cozy Stay with Room for Improvement
During our 4-night stay, we loved the cleanliness and ambiance of our room, although the bathroom felt cramped. The location made it easy to explore the city, but be prepared for the tiny elevator. Pro tip, use the stairs if you’re feeling adventurous!

Elevator barely fits two people. we had to transport luggage one by one. Room fixtures felt cheap and disassembled, with rusty shower fittings and an overall uncomfortable vibe. Noise from the lively area outside, especially at night, compromised the peace we were looking for. Plus, no kettle or coffee machine in the room was a letdown.

i was really looking forward to my stay but was met with disappointment. the elevator is tiny—seriously, i had to haul my luggage one by one. and why no welcome gift for me? the least they could’ve done is upgrade my room after such an inconvenience. not worth my time, almost left a good review, but just couldn’t.

The electric kettle with a selection of tea and the remarkably comfortable bed made my stay quite enjoyable, despite the tight elevator that only reached the fourth floor.
